A pallet changer turns a complete, loaded pallet 90 or 180 degrees so the pallet can be changed without repacking the products. The PalletRotator does this for a load of up to 2000 kg.
What is a pallet changer?
A pallet changer is a machine that clamps a full pallet and turns it 90 or 180 degrees so the pallet can be changed. Pallet changer, pallet tilter and pallet inverter are different names for the same kind of machine.
The PalletRotator is a pallet changer for the food industry, cold stores and distribution centres. It comes in a standard version and an EPT version.
How the PalletRotator works
Load
You load the standard version with a forklift, reach truck or stacker. The EPT version can also be loaded with a hand pallet truck or electric pump truck.
Clamp and turn
The machine clamps the load and turns it 90 or 180 degrees.
Change the pallet
At 90 degrees you change the pallet by hand, at 180 degrees usually with a forklift or reach truck. Then turn the load back.
When do you change a pallet?
- Replace a damaged or dirty pallet
- From a plastic pallet to a wooden pallet, or the other way round
- Adapt the pallet type to customer or hygiene requirements
- Goods that arrive on the wrong pallet
Standard: load capacity 2000 kg, can be loaded with a forklift, reach truck or stacker.

What dimensions can the PalletRotator handle?
The clamping plate measures 1200 x 1200 mm. The clamping range is 1100 to 2500 mm for the standard version and 1310 to 2500 mm for the EPT version.
