What are freezer spacers?
Freezer spacers are racks, slats or mats placed between or under the products during freezing so the cold air can reach everywhere. They are also called freezer racks, dividers or freezer mats. They have to be removed again before storage or dispatch.
Unpacking a frozen load by hand is heavy and awkward, especially at -25°C. The PalletRotator tilts the load for you so you can unpack the spacers safely and quickly.
How to remove freezer spacers with the PalletRotator
Drive in the pallet
Place the frozen pallet in the PalletRotator with a forklift or stacker.
Clamp and tilt
The machine clamps the entire load and tilts it 90 degrees.
Unpack the spacers
Take the freezer spacers or freezer mats out of the load by hand and tilt the load back.
